Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

i was working and i have been saving up money. i had gave my boss at the time to hold my money so i will not spend it and my boss at the time had got fired from the job and now that person will not give me back my money to me. is there any thing i can do about getting my money back.

You can sue the person to whom you gave the money in small claims court if the amount in dispute is less than $5,000.
