Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Hi, in 1992 I had a charge of welfare fraud in Fl but had since moved to another state. In 1994 I received a letter stating there was a warrant. I retained an attorney from Il in Fl. I ended up paying restitution of $1400. On my document details, it states Nolle Prosequi on charge of welfare fraud, restitution paid and that Fl would be served by not going to the expenses related to the case.
A few questions here~
1) Was I convicted? On applications, when it asked if I have ever been convicted, do I answer yes? Since this is a felony, can I have this expunged?
Thank you in advance for your replies,

It's hard to give an answer without more information. You really need to talk to an attorney in the location where it happened since they will be able to help you out.
