M.S.,
The answer to your question will depend on some additional information that an attorney would need from you. To begin with, you say you were charge with: 1) Resisting Arrest and 2) Battery on a LEO. I would need to know if the Resisting Arrest was a Felony (with violence) or a misdemeanor (without violence)? I would also need to know what your sentence was?
Were you convicted? Or was adjudication withheld? If these charges arose in the Tampa Bay area, I can help you look them up on the computer and answer your question in more detail.
If you've never been arrested before (both prior to these charges, as well as after these charges), you may be eligible to apply to have your arrest record sealed. With more information, I would be able to assist you in that process.
If you would like to discuss your case(s) in more detail, please give my office a call at 727.474.3785 or 1.877.HIRE.SLF. You can also email me at: [email protected]

The short answer is it will stay on your record forever unless you decide to get it sealed. Mr. Slavin is correct in all the variables that may or may not allow you to seal the charges. Feel free to give him or myself a call at 727-528-1859 if you have any questions.
