Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
In 2007, I was convicted of grand theft. Now I am trying to become a nurse and was wondering if I could get it sealed or expunged or anything? Thanks.

It depends on whether you were adjudicated. Please call me to discuss your case.

You can get it sealed if certain things have happened:
1. The case is completely over, including probation.
2. You got a withhold of adjudication. You say you were convicted, so I don't know if you got a withhold or not.
3. You have to apply for the sealing.
It takes about a year.
