Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was 23 when I downloaded an app called WhatsApp on my phone last year in 2017. All go a sudden I got a message from this person I never met at all asking if she knew me and how my WhatsApp number got on her phone. I didn't know so after a while we became friends and such she told me she was 23-24 sent a picture of herself and everything. I sent a photo of myself from like when I was 18 because that's the last photo I took. After a while of talking she began asking if I have a job and I told her I did and I told her what I did. I then asked her if she had one and she said she has a business but she's looking for investors. This point I could tell she may be trying to hit me up for money. So I let it go and after a while we had more talks and she asked if I could help hold a check she's getting in my account so when she comes down here she could get it and pay me back. She lives in another state whereas I live in Florida. I didn't agree we argued and we didn't talk for a week or so. She then messages me back and we patched things up and we started talking and I developed feelings for and she did for me i thought at the time. It got sexual. I sent a few pics. My fave wasn't in them or anything and she sent pics but oddly the pics she sent didn't look like the initial picture she first sent when we talked first. Afterwards she tried to get me to watch over her sister who apparently has sickle cell. I told her i couldn't I don't have a car so i gave her advice from webmd.com we got into a fight then she said that she was really 16 and that i was going to pay for making her fall in love with me and I was a jerk and she was going to the authorities with the pictures. I've been nervous since then. Its been 2 days and nothings happened. I'm wondering should i really be concerned or not. I've been physically sick over this the last two days.

You're certainly in a tricky situation. However I'm not convinced that you are criminally liable for everything. That being said you really need to talk to an attorney in person out of an abundance of caution. You very well may be liable for transmitting pictures over the internet that you shouldn't have. But it also sounds like a defense in your explanation as well. Because your question can't really be answered on a forum such as this and I suggest you do not offer any more information on this public forum it really is best to talk to an attorney in your area in person.
