Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I am under 18, 16 to be exact. What would happen if I was caught with possession of less than one ounce of Marijuana in the state of Florida? Will this be on a permanent record? Will colleges be able to see this? After college, will this come back to haunt me in the future when applying for jobs?

Juvenile records are usually sealed from public view. That said, there always seems to be a way for companies to find that info out through background checks. Assume that it will be there. That means you will go to jail or a juvenile detention center. Further, you will have to pay a large fine and then there is a 2 year license suspension. If you have pending charges, talk to an attorney immediately. If not, stay out of trouble.
