Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
2257 Exemption Statement
I see many adult web sites which use a 2257 exemption statement. Most of these sites claim that their content is exempt because the content doesn't fall in the scope of 2256/2257. Does the DOJ view a website which has a 2257 exemption statement any differently from a website which doesn't use a 2257 statement at all? Is there any real benefit to use an exemption statement?
