Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

On 7/31/09 A friend of mine was babysitting my home and animals, while me and my fiance went out. Anyways while I was gone The Law Inforcement Officers showed up looking for one of my sons who was living there at the time. My Son Then Seen them from my understanding and run off through the woods. My Friend Chris and and another friend Furbie were asked where my son was, even after the officers seen him run through the woods[stupid question on there part] anyways both Chris and Furbie both said they don't know. Both Chris and Furbie were both highly intoxicated and were even drinking beer in front of the officers. They were so intoxicated they were staggering. Anyways one of the officers asked them again if that was My son that ran through the woods, they both said yes. The same officer[Chewning] of Dixie County Sherriffs Dept., Then Had Both Of Them, Chris and Furbie, Write out a Affidavit while they were highley intoxicated, That they had lied to him, abotu my son. Now this same officer is calling our phone, going times ticking tick tick, like a threat, he has also threatening to take them both to jail, for lieing if they dont find out where my son is. They [chris and furbie] Told the officer when he called that my son had called from a pay phone in Clemont. The officer told chris to have him call him, when chris said it was a pay phone the officer said do you want me to come get you right now and put you in jail. Chris said no, the officer[chewing] said well dont get smart with me again. Neither boy hardly remembers the affidavit, or the day for that matter. Is any of this legal?????????????? Thank you all for your help

Is what legal? Any officer trying to find your son? Coming to your son's residence to find him? Calling you on the phone at the residence to try to find your son? Questioning your neighbors about where your son is? Yes, all legal. The officer has not threatened anyone in any illegal manner, in my opinion.
