Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
In 1972 in Jacksonville Florida, what would have been the likely charge and conviction if a woman shot and killed her husband after finding out he'd been molesting their 12-yr-old daughter? I want to know because I'm writing a story involving such an incident.

Could be first or second degree murder, or possibly manslaughter. She may have also gotten a jury pardon. If you're writing a story, use your imagination. You could also just google newspaper articles from the era and I'm sure you'll find something.
