Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Its been 2 months since my friend was arrested with Drug Trafficking but but no formal charges has been filed.... Is that a sign the state attorney is gonna drop the case??

Not necessarily. The state has nearly 6 months to file formal charges. After that point your friend can breathe easier, but that doesn't mean the state won't file charges, it just means that the proper motion with caselaw cites. At that point your attorney will file the motion. It should also be noted that if your friend doesn't have an attorney, get one, because the attorney can help expedite any possible dismissal in the case now as opposed to waiting 6 months.
