Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
When I was 16 I was questioned on a criminal matter at school, with the police present but without my parents or legal gaurdians there. Was this legal?

The answer depends on many factors but big picture it is not technically illegal. The officers have some discretion. If they charged you with a crime a motion to suppress any confession would have to be considered based on your age and mental intelligence at the time. If you were only a witness then the police would not contact anyone.
