Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
In 2010 in the state of Florida, I applied for a life insurance policy and got approved. Now in 2017, I realize that something might have been a material misrepresentation in one my health statement answers. Since it has been more than 6 years would the statute of limitation apply to avoid any fraud or criminal charges related to this insurance application?

Under Florida law that statue of limitations might have run. Although the exact dates are very important. It may not matter anyway however since at the time you made the statement in 2010 it sounds like you didn't know that it was a mistake. If that's the case then there's no Criminal Intent and thus no crime.
