Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Hello, My 20 year old daughter was arrested and charged with Battery as there was video evidence of her slapping the guy who had previously assulted her. Him hitting her was not on the video. However, the Police Officer who arrested her has been calling and sending her text messages saying he would like to help. She has spoken to the Police Officer a few times. Could this be thrown out of court because of this? Thank you.

It is self defense so it could be thrown out, but she is going to need to a good attorney to assert that defense.
