Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My 17 year old son caused a minor rear end collision and the person he hit agreed to let me pay it instead of turning it into his insurance. He is now suing us in small claims court in Tampa Florida. My question is why does my minor child have to appear and can he be sued?

This is a civil law question so a criminal law attorney won't be able to help you. I suggest you post your question in a personal injury forum.
