Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I 31 years ago broke an closed store window. got arrested and when to court I believed I was charged with a class 2 misdemeanor no probation or fine just court fee... since then I had a job in the Florida department of correction they did a background check and found nothing? left there work for a medical Equipment and Oxygen company been there for 8 years and I have to take a level 2 background Check every two years but I have never heard anything why?.... are there certain crimes that are more serious? I am planning to move on to a county job they ask have you ever been convicted of an felony or first-degree misdemeanor? yes or no?.. I believe no to first de-degree misdemeanor? then ask have I ever had an adjudication of guilt withheld for a felony or first-degree misdemeanor yes or no? Again I believe it was a lesser misdemeanor? what's do you believe I should put yes or no? Thanks for any of your help!!

Not sure if anyone can answer your question since you don't even know what happened. My best suggestion is that you go to the clerk of the county where this happened and look up your own record. It will say the charge, and whether or not you were adjudicated guilty or not. Once you know, then an attorney can answer your question, if it even needs answering at that point.
