13 years ago i had sex with a man that was 27 at the time i was 12 years old i live in the state of florida can he still be charge with rape.

Statute of limitations start on the date of the event. So if this happened 13 years ago, then we need to look to the laws of 1997. So my answer is based on today's statute which hasn't changed a whole lot in that time. If you were 11 at the time, prosecution could be commenced at any time. Otherwise, it would be 4 years from your 18th birthday, or whenever it was reported to the police, whichever happened earlier. So, it sounds like he can not be charged with rape at this time.
