Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I'm 18 years old and I live in Florida. I was stopped by the police at around 3:00 am with a minor after buying myself two packs of cigarettes. None were given to the minor. On our way back down the hill next to walmart, the minor found 3 full cans of beer and the empty cardboard box on the ground next to the gas station. She picked them up and put them in her bag. I had never touched them. When stopped by the officer, I was very cooperative and answered all the questions truthfully and told the officer everything that happened. I was wondering what kind of charges I could be looking at.

The most likely charge that I could see them charging you with is possession of alcohol by a minor (you since you are under 21). Making it stick is another story. Did you receive any paperwork or were you just questioned because it makes a big difference. Feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
