Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
18 years old, first offense, second degree felony for unarmed burglary unoccupied dwelling. Is it possible he could get probation? We live in Florida.

A possibility. However I strongly suggest that you consult with an attorney to review the facts of the case and explore defenses.
If found guilty this young person is not able to seal or expunge his records. Furthermore if he/she is placed on probation and violates probation he/she will face prison time that he/she could have faced for this second degree felony.
Given the age of the defendant and the severity of the charge. It is worthwhile proceeding with counsel.
