Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My 4 yr old lost his ( my old iPod) in a parking lot.
He is autistic and non verbal, it took me about a week to search the house and cars and realize it was really gone.
The only place that he goes with it in hand is the grocery stores.
I looked on craigslist to see if someone had it on the lost/found site, but instead found a kid trying to sell it instead.
It has a cracked screen so it was not hard to find out it was mine, but the guy will not respond back to me.
Is there anything I can do? I have his name in an email but nothing else?
Thanks

Contact the police and inform Craigslist they may be able to stop him from selling. In the meantime, if he is arrested, you could get restitution if it did get sold.
