Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Can I be Accused of Grand Theft Auto?

Two years ago I have bought a used car. I just arrived from Europe and I din't have a bank account so I paid with cash but I don't have a receipt. I have lost the car in an accident last year.

I don't have a criminal record.

What if my friend that I lived with and from I have bought the car will say that I have stolen the vehicle ?

She gave me the title signed and I went to the DMV office following the procedure.

I didn't ask for a receipt because when I went to the DMV office with the title I have been told that I am good with the title signed.

I paid for the car $ 2200, and taxes for this amount, but as I mentioned earlier don't have a receipt.

Do I have to worry about that?
