Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was acussed of selling a narcotic pescription loratabs by a ci who has had the same drug felony charges in the past and the way she gets off is by entraping others how do I go about fighting these charges.In addition I have a public defender is that a conflict ,the ci works for the state?

Just because a ci sells you drugs does not make it entrapment. That said, entrapment might be a defense. There could be a lot of other defenses as well. Having a public defender would only be a conflict if they represented this ci in the past or present. So you can and should talk to your public defender about these defenses. Alternatively, you could try and hire an attorney which would be the best option.
