Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
adjudication withheld and employment
If an 18 year old has adjudication withheld for a battery and an application ask ''Have you ever had adjudication of guilt withheld to a crime which is a felony or a first degree misdeamnor?'' do they have to say yes and if so, can this prevent them from getting a job with the State of Florida? Thank you

Re: adjudication withheld and employment
The correct answer to this question would be "Yes". Whether it can prevent him from getting a job is up to the person doing the hiring. They most likely will require more information about the case.
