Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon no intention to kill

A sales rep came to my home selling cookware. Mske a long story short-are credit was declined so we asked the rep to come by the house to return the deposit. He said no that the check would be sent in 10 days. He never told us he was going to pull my credit. After we heard this we asked him to leave. He insisted on us giving him more money. We said no to get out and he wouldn't. At that point my husband became upset and threatened. He pulled out his hand gun and placed in the back of his pants. and said to get out that he had a gun and would protect himself. The rep then turned around and called the police. It turns out my husband was arrested. They searched my house, took the gun and a shot gun my husband uses for hunting. I could not believe it! and still can't. My husband has never been in trouble with the law. My husband was acting in self defense, did not point the gun at anyone. It was inside his own home. We found a great attorney what are his chances of this case being suppresed?

It sounds like you have some strong defenses. I am glad you have an attorney you like. I am curious who it is - I know several of the attorneys in your area. (You are under no obligation to tell me - I am just curious.)

Good luck.
