Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
aggravated battery with a firearm (discharg)
My fiancee' was charged with aggravated battery with a firearm (discharge). The victim and witnesses in the case now do not want to appear in court. Is it possible the state will drop the charges because the victim and witnesses are not going to appear.

It is possible but unlikely. These are very serious charges and the state can try anf force the victim to appear.Your fiance is facing 20 years, does he have a lawyer?
