Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Aggrevated Batter with great bodily harm

My 25 yr old daughter was arrested for subject crime. She spent 3 days in jail and sent home on OPR. She was never convicted, never went to court or placed on probation of any kind. The case was closed because the boyfriend she injured while intoxicated refused to implicate her. The case was closed. Yet..she has difficulty getting employement because in a criminal search this info appears...and employers assume she was guilty. Can the arrest record be expunged?? How should she answer questions on an application concerning her past arrest but no coniviction? Thank you. A concerned Dad. ps. she is alcohol free and working.
