Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I would like to know if when applying for a job I have to put that I have been arrested in the past or not? I have a felony in Florida from 2 years ago. I was charged with medical drug fraud and my disposition was WH ADJ-PROB SP COND. I now finished probation and there were no violations or any issues. I live in New York now but I am not sure if this will show up when they do a background test. This was my first and only case and it was WH ADJ. Do I have to let employers know in the application or not? Please advice.

Thank you in advanced for your time and response.

Under Florida law you have not been convicted and if ever asked about it you can say that you haven't been convicted. It will, however, still show up on background checks so the reality is that you will have to explain that to any employer. I suggest you hire an attorney to get the charge sealed which will minimize it showing up on background checks.
