Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Arraignment
I was arraigned for charges for which I was arrested for, that the state took no action. However, they did file new charges similar tothe previous ones. In looking at my dockets history I didn't see where they have rearraigned me on the new charges. Only set a felony sounding. How long does the state have to arraign me of charges after filing them?

Re: Arraignment
Neither a failure to arraign nor an irregularity in the arraignment shall affect the validity of any proceeding in the cause if you entered a plea to the charges or if you fail to object. In any event, I suggest that you have an attorney review your case and appear at the sounding.
