Can a Florida Police Officer make a felony arrest outside his jurisdiction and what is the statute number allowing this arrest.

So as long as the defendant stays out of the jurisdiction he can't be arrested?

This sounds like a homework question....but the practical answer is maybe. There are circumstances where this may be possible.
Also, the way your question is posed makes it sound like you are referring to a State officer. If this is the case, he/she would have jurisdiction throughout the entire state.
