Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Arrest on Fugitive Warrant

Niece arrested in Brevard Co. FL on fugitive warrant issued in AZ. She signed extradition papers in FL. has been in jail 6 days. Would a lawyer in FL be able to help get her home faster or do we need to wait for AZ to go collect her.

You have to wait unless an Arizona lawyer can somehow get the charge taken care of without her being there.

Re: Arrest on Fugitive Warrant

Now that your niece has waived extradition, it is up to AZ authorities to come pick her up. Though the process cannot "officially" be sped up, I have had some success in the past in doing just that. Additionally, she needs representation upon her return to AZ. You are more than welcome to contact me via email or phone (six zero two) two two two - nine two three seven. Please let me know what the charges are as well as any additional information that you think might be useful so that I can better answer your questions.
