Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Arrest: Nonpayment of Court Fee
My wife was arrested a couple of days ago. The reason for that is she failed to pay the court fee on time. She was arrested last year she commit Petty Theft, and placed on probation and supposed to pay the Court fee every month.
I paied the court fee in full yesterday for her. Do you think the Judge will release her from the County Jail soon?

Re: Arrest: Nonpayment of Court Fee
Judges are pretty lenient with people who come into compliance with their probabtion conditions before they are sentenced on violations of probation. However, she won't be released at least until her next court date. You may be able to get her a quicker court date by retaining an attorney, who can have the case added on the docket.
