arrest for petty theft
I was arested for petty theft at walmart for eating food while shoping and not paying for the food i ate. I have never been arested before. I plain to plea guilty. what do u think i my penlity will be

Most likely, you will be ordered to pay restitution and court costs. You may get some public service hours also. You will probably be issued a no trespass warning and not be allowed in that Wal-Mart again. They could put you on probation briefly also, but they probably will not. Also, don't plead guilty-- always plead "no contest" in a criminal case. I recommend speaking to a criminal defense attorney first. You may be able to get the charges dropped or at least a lesser sentence than discussed above by plea bargaining. Specifically, if you agree to pay for the food and not ever go back to that store, that may be sufficient to resolve the criminal charges.
