Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My son is 22 and was arrested in Nov while visiting a friend.
While walking around in the apt complex where his friend lives the officer at the complex said him and the boys were being noisey and he witnessed my son also walking by three cars and hitting their hood with his hand as he passed by them. he was told to leave
but he didn't because he had to go get his ride that was at the apt however he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing. We don't have a court date yet I was told however that it was being worked on and we would be notified. I guess the apt complex pressed the trespassing
charges because his friend only rents in there or can his friend help by saying he was invited to his house?
