Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

arrest warrant

i just found out my father has a warrant. It reads, '' felony warrant CTI witness tampering CTII battery bond none.'' We believe that it related to a domestic dispute he and my mom had about two weeks ago. They were fighting, she hit him first he hit her back. She called the police but he left before they got there. She had a mark on her face they took a picture but she did not press charges. My dad came to my house and when he got here his top lip was bruised and swollen but I did not take a picture. Anyway, my mom called today to say the police were at her house looking for him.

What should we do? and why the witness tampering charge?

Re: arrest warrant

it sounds like the state attorney filed criminal charges against your father for the domestic battery. In addition, the witness tampering charges relate to someone's conduct in relationship to a witness in a case. In order to assist you must immediately e-mail me your phone number and a convenient time to call you. This type of the charge usually gets worse with someone not dealing with the police because they assume that someone could flee like your father. I have working associations with lawyers in your area that could handle this matter. if you're interested e-mail me your phone number at my e-mail address and I'll talk to you about this further then.
