When a person is arrested for battery, usually one of the condtions of release is that you have no contact. That means no contact of any kind, whether it be by phone, email, third parties, or even if you are in the same restaurant, bar, or other public place, YOU must leave, even if you were there first. Get an attorney to protect your rights and have them clarify your rights with the judge.
