Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Would I be arrested for blowing a dummy up on a raft in the ocean next to a large pier? If so what would they charge me with?

It depends on your intent. If you are trying to profit from it, or cause police to get involved then it could be fraud, it could be false police report, or other crimes. You'd be better served using your imagination for something productive instead of these type of questions.

If by "blowing up"' you mean exploding, you could be charged with discharging a destructive device. It could be a first degree felony if it results in damage to property. I believe, just as with arson, that it doesn't matter if the property damaged is yours or someone else's.
