Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was arrested and charged with Felony Assault on Person of 65 or older, and domestic violence in oct of 2014. All charges were dropped by both the plantiff and the state. Before this, I had 2 misdemeanors, on in 2002 and one in 2003, but no other criminal record. Since Oct, I have had a great deal of difficulty finding a job...can potential employers see the arrest on my record, even though I was never convicted of anything. I can go to the local Clerk of Courts, type in my SSN and see....what is to prevent them from doing the same....most employment apps ask for SSN. Can they even view the 2 misdemeanors?

You might be able to get those dismissed charges sealed since they were dropped. And yes, they do still show on your arrest record (but it should show that you were not convicted). I say might because if you were convicted of either of those two other misdemeanors, then that will forever prevent you from getting those dismissed charges sealed or expunged.
