Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was arrested and charged with possession of pot and tampering with evidence. The cops said I tried to eat the pot. they said they did a valtox field test on two or three tiny specks that "magically" fell out of my mouth. Both cops testifeid that no pot was ever recovered and that they don't keep the used valtox tests because they smell bad!!! Sounds like total crap to me. The fact is there was never any pot anywhere ever. there was no valtox test ever done on the scene during the entire investigation. I just graduated from radiology school five days prior to this sad event. How can they convict someone with absolutely no evidence to provide to a jury. Please help!!!

You are definitely on the right track. Fact is they can't convict without evidence. That said, don't be surprised when some small amount of "evidence" shows up. You need to to hire an attorney right away and fight this or else you risk your ability to practice in the radiology field.
