Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
was arrested at someone else's house and sheriff would not allow me to retrieve personal property. Now other person will not allow me to retrieve my property and police say to bad it is an abandoned property. What can I do?

If the police won't allow you to obtain your property, then you have the option of suing the person who has your property. If the amount in question is less than $5,000, then you would sue in small claims court. You should consult with an attorney. Often times, an attorney sending a letter to the other party is enough to get the property returned.
