Get a copy of your prescription and provide it to your attorney. The sooner you do this, the better! There is no law requiring the prescription to be in the bottle. The prescription itself is exculpatory and should convince the prosecutor to dismiss the charges.

There is a defense for having a prescription. You need to get a copy of it to the State Attorney's office as soon as possible (preferably sent by a lawyer since they sometimes reject things sent directly by defendants). They do not have to drop the charges, but they probably will.
