arrested for passport

Hi.. I have a warrant issued for my arrest in Florida in america.. I have been out of the country way before they ever issued a warrant, but i have no returned to answer teh warrant yet. If i try to travel with my american passport will i be arrested?? Even though im not wanted and i havent fled.. Just i wasnt there when the warrant was issued and i havent returned to answer it yet? If i travel will i get detained, or only when i enter my country or city? Please Help!!!! Thank you in advance

You more than likely will be detained upon your re-entry, especially if the outstanding warrant is for a felony charge. I would be able to look into this for you. Regardless if you contact me or not you need to retain the services of a criminal lawyer to help you with this. It may be possible to work out a resolution prior to your return so that you can re-enter without fear of arrest at the airport. A lot depends upon the actual charge.
