Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
can i get arrested for not paying a payday loan? I have been getting calls saying They have checked my social & see that I have not been arrested for this type of thing but if I don't call in 24 hours they will contact the Sheriffs office for a disposition warrant.

No. They threaten this, but it is not lawful. You should contact a consumer protection attorney as this is probably collection harassment.
