Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was arrested for stealing a $7.00 tie from walmart in the state of Florida. I have a clean record and this was my 1st and only offense which was filled under petit theft misdemeanor. I was released from jail under ROR. I haven't recieved my court date yet but will be hiring an attorney most likely. Seeing that i will be out of state for my summer camp job that starts May 17th. My attorney can go to my court date correct? Or am i going to be required to show up to court?
