Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Have been given a Arrest/Notice to Appear on a misdemeanor of Florida Statute 893.13 6(b) first offense. I would like to get this off my record, how should I plead in order to do this. I am a male, 27 years old.

In order to be eligible to have the case sealed you will need to receive a withhold of ajudication. If you want to have the case expunged you will need to have it dropped (or wait a number of years after having it sealed) many times a first offense is eligible for a diversion program. If you successfully complete the diversion the case is dismissed. In either scenario the sealing/expunction is an additional step after the case is resolved.
