Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was asked by an office owner who happens to be a lawyer to "leave the office" (exact words) and that we were 'trespassing' which I complied with straight away. This was the first time he has ever mentioned this to me. However, the next day I returned to the office with the final payment in hopes to end the dispute but the office owner mentioned that I am trespassing and threatened to call the police. I left straight away again but my question is, is my second visit considered a trespass?
Is it considered a verbal trespass notice when the office owner asked me to "leave the office" even though they have not elaborated that I am no longer allowed in the office?
I was not aware that when someone says "leave the office" it means I can not return again. I am afraid this will be against me even though I have meant no harm.

Yes it is trespassing. If you tell someone to "leave your house" and they come back in violation of your verbal warning, don't you feel you would be within your rights to call the police too? If you need to communicate, then do it by mail, or email if it is done for the purpose of resolving issues and not made in order to harass.
