I've been asked to come in to the sheriffs office for an interview concerning sexual misconduct alligations

Do not go voluntarily without an attorney. If you do go, do not answer any questions, period, at all. Do not let them threaten you or make promises to you. Just tell them you are invoking your right to remain silent and that you want to consult with an attorney before answering any questions.
I say again-Do Not Talk to the Cops!
