Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I asked my son's father for his consent to relocate and he said yes unless I give him some money.Desperatly for an emergency I said ok but since he has no Id a money order wouldn't help so I gave him cash at a notary office. After we left he said, well don't move because I don't approve the relocation and he kept $1,500,the last pennies I had.All I have of proof is messages from him to take the money in cash or he wont let me move.or some saying he wanted $2,000.or the office cameras might seen me giving him the money. Can I acused him of extortion? How?or where should I go?..Thank you
