Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I attempted twice to obtain an injunction against an individual who has been harassing me, calling me job looking for me and sending me nasty emails. This individual has also assaulted me with a knife, yet both times I have been turned down. Since then they have been arrested for stalking me, what advice would you give in helping me obtain an injunction?

If the criminal case against this individual is still open, you may be able to get a no-contact order in place if you request it from the State Attorney's office. Also, bringing up the arrest to the civil judge should provide enough reason to obtain an injunction this time around.

I agree with the other gentleman. Get a no contact order from the State Attorneys office and use that to improve your chances of getting the injunction from a civil Judge.
