Attorney Misrepresentation

How to have your case reopened after a conviction due to misrepresentation? Have you heard of scare tactics used by prosecutors to persuade a person to plea no cont. or guilty?

Re: Attorney Misrepresentation

It is very common for Prosecutors to use scare tactics to coax a defendant to plead; And while distasteful, it is perfectly ethical.

The theory is that they offer a discounted plea so that they do not have to get all their witnesses in and spend the time in trial, but if you make them go through all of the trouble to prove your guilt, then you should be prepared to be sentenced up to the maximum and do not deserve leniency.
