Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I am awaiting sentencing for a felony charge in Florida. I have an impeccable record. Will character reference letters to the judge help me and if so do I mail them directly to the judge? Thank you

A judge can consider anything during sentencing, and they probably won't hurt but do not send them directly to a judge. They are not allowed to have contact directly with a party or defendant. Your best bet is to have the letters sent to your attorney if you have one.
