Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I went back to pick up some friends that I dropped off when I got back I saw officers talking to them I walked up and the officer ask for my I'd I presented to him he gave it back I walked back to my car and got in within minutes the officer tap on my window and open my door and start to search the driver side and then he went to the passenger side begin to search and found weed. The officer ask is this yours I said no I don't smoke the passenger stated it belongs to him. Now he begin to search my car and picked up a backpack ask do it belongs to me I reply no he searched found weed ask the passenger's everyone said no. Well I get arrested, as well as, the passenger in the front seat, but the other two they let go. I know why they arrested me, because he looked at my record. This sucks and I blame myself for giving so call friends a ride. I work very hard trying to do the right thing. Take care of my child doing everything in my power not to get in anymore trouble. It's really hard being a man. My mother told me you only have 3 strikes and two was already taking away. I asked, why? I haven't used it. She said, unfortunately you have. You are a man and black (African-American).
